There was never more than one “regular” woman on at a time, and maybe not ever.

I watch the show with my girlfriend from time to time but would their be as many viewers if the show was hosted by 5 regular women & unknown to the public ( I mean no offense or harm) but since it’s hosted by celebrities, people will watch watch. This is just an opinion of mine that’s all

well who would you suggest, Susie the Avon saleswomen?
The view has been on for 12 years, their concept seems to be working….for adults
What points of view do you have anyway?? They seem normal to me.

When the view began, they were all nobodys except for Barbara. They talked about everyday occurrences and didn’t discuss politics. TOday that’s ALL they talk about….who cares what they think?
I don’t care what their views are today. It’s the same ‘ol, same ‘ol, every day.

I think the format was somewhat different when the show first aired. It was more varied; they discussed a wide range of topics. I didn’t find the women to be as recognizable as the present cast. It’s become more of a forum for political viewpoints to be argued. I don’t care for it anymore because it’s the same everyday.
