There probably are, but everyone who answers your question other than me is promoting some kind of scam. They will make money when you sign up, but you won’t make anything. I’m not promoting anything so you can trust me. Not sure about the rest of these guys.

Dear Jesse: Look at ebay. Look at developing your own web site to promote a service or product. Look for companies willing to take you on as a partner. Try to get into a field where you have expertise and develop other areas as you gain confidence.

the only thing i can suggest is to do your own homework. the only thing the internet can offer is surveys and completing offers from companies, but remember if you buy the answers or opinions on here then you buy their lifestyles, I commend you for stepping up to take control of your own life, if you can find a product that fills a need then you will succeed.

You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies.

You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job.

These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as “work at home” because they would hear from too many unqualified people.

    Hello Jesse.

Yes there are Work at Home Businesses that are 100% genuine.

But finding them is extremely difficult. I speak as one who has spent years looking for one, and losing a lot of money in the process.

I eventually found, purely by chance, a very good way of making a very good income from home, and for not many hours work a week, but it has taken me a while and some dedication and work to get to where I am now, making good money.

If you are looking for something that you can just start today and it will make you a good income, FORGET IT, there is no such thing.

Best to look on a genuine Business Opportunities review site and find what people who have tried the various Business Opportunities are saying about them. This will save you trying lots of things that are never going to work.

Yes, you will have to pay a subscription to become a member, but you will save so much time and money from reading all the reviews it really is worth it.

The one that I used was ‘uk Business Opportunity review’. Comprehensive reviews of hundreds of Businesses.

    Good luck with your quest.

I have recently found a new web site which offers an opportunity for some extra income for simple data entering. You enter a place (such as a restaurant, law office, theme park, etc.) along with its address and some additional information. Once that place advertises on the web site which is similar to yellow pages, you receive a percentage of the advertising revenue. The percentage of money you receive depends on how much information you enter. Adding a restaurant’s phone number, address, and zip code would earn you roughly $10 per month assuming the restaurant advertises. Even if the place you add doesn’t advertise, you receive tickets to win prizes in drawings you can enter. The web site is still in beta and by invite only right now. It has a good business plan and a good way to set itself ahead of the already existing web sites that are similar. If you get in now, there are still plenty of places available to add as well as a forum for suggesting helpful additions and ideas to the web site. Send me your email address to ph_blazers14@yahoo.com for an invite or just message me here. You can always browse the forums to see if you like the idea before you start adding places.

Although there are ways to make money online, most people are better off simply getting a job at their local McDonalds, Starbucks or Wal Mart.

If you are hell bent on finding a way to make money online however then you need to avoid:
    - Anything that wants you to pay money
    - Anything that promises you will get rich quick
    - Anything that makes you uncomfortable

Those things tend to be scams.

If you have a bit of spare time you could try GPTHQ (a site like cashcrate but imho better because it pays more and has a paypal option) or, if you have a lot of time and a typing speed of 35 WPM with 99% accuracy you could try freelance writing.

Good luck – I hope this helps.

    Stay clear of scams!
