It’s bad enough the emplyment rate among teens is the lowest it’s ever been, but do they understand that it costs millions of dollars to make a movie or to produce an album and that millions of lives are affected and people lose their jobs because of their laziness and cheapness?

I’m 18 and It’s normal to watch movies online for free around here.
I don’t think people even think about that when watching them online. I know i don’t. a lot of teens don’t have the money to go out and see the movie in theater at $10 a ticket.

I think it’s because a)laziness and b)money. I don’t know…I personally love going to the movies and renting them from Reel in Berkeley.My mother on the other hand is in love with Netflix and hates going to the movies.

My conclusion agrees with yours. It comes from a sense of entitlement.
I have watched a few episodes of tv shows that were posted for free viewing on imdb.com and Yahoo but never gone searching for something.
i feel really bad for you. im 15 and i personally dont watch movies for free online, i always rent from the local store (which is doing really well, so idk y urs isnt) or go see it in the movies because i actually do realise how much work goes into making a movie. also because the only time i tried to watch a movie online the site gave me a nasty virus and we had to completely wipe our computer.
i do, however download music occasionally. i know that prob makes no sense to you (most of my songs are bought tho) but sometimes going onto itunes and paying 1.68 or watever it is for one song just doesnt appeal to me. i know its wrong but its not like im downloading heaps, just a couple.
anyway, im soz bout ur business. hope things get better.
