  1. Fireball says:

I would give everything I have, including my life if I could cure cancer. My religious beliefs influence my thoughts and everything I do. I care a lot about people and do whatever I can to help them. Belief in God and heaven does not stop me from wanting to make the world a better place, it drives me to actually get out of my chair and do something about it. Christianity is an active faith, not passive.

  2. The Hall Monitor says:

sure if theres no blood involved…
I want at least 45 grand LOL

  3. OnTheRoc says:

Your question gives the appearance that everyone attempting to find the cure for cancer is doing it for financial gain. People have been seeking the cure for many Generations; that in itself should show that the majority do not do it for financial gain. Most, live and die making a modest salary; unless, of course, they have side businesses and research to support a more lucrative lifestyle.

  4. Mozez says:

Yes, I would labor on to find a cure. A lack of mainstream religion doesn’t really enter into it, since its just common human decency to save millions from needless suffering. In fact, it would take a religion to convince most people otherwise, by brainwashing them into thinking that cancer is God’s will, or some such nonsense.

  5. Bob B™ says:

Absolutley. Just because a person is atheist, christian, muslim, jew, ect, doesn’t mean they wont help others. I, an atheist, would love to cure cancer. Even if I got no money, even if no one ever heard or knew my name, I would do it. because it would save so many lives, save so many from heart-break, save so many inoccent childeren/adults…. I would absolutley do it.

  6. make me a sandwitch!!! says:

Hell yes! Just imagine putting an end to all the misery and heartache that cancers cause. And no, my atheism doesn’t enter the picture.
All due respect imrod, but those jobs can be left at work for the most part. Finding a cure for cancer would easily consume one’s life xD

  7. The RoadRunner xD says:

I’d want to do it because cancer is a horrible affliction. If God gave me the grace and insight to develop a cure for cancer, I’d do so without question and hesitation.

  8. Chris G says:

Absolutely, never been very material, but as a nurse was often devastated along with families who lost a loved one. And, My husband died way to young from a cancer that there should be a cure for.

  9. June smiles says:

Most people dedicate their lives toward a career that will not make them a millionaire, teachers, firemen, nurses, grocery clerks.

  10. imrod says:

    I would.
And you know, in all likelihood, whoever does find a cure most likely won’t become fabulously rich for it. Some pharmaceutical company will.

I would still work toward a cure even if I would not be come a millionaire.

  15. mia delight says:

of course! A fine wage is good enough for me, or even a decent wage. But i’m not running a charity, i need some money.

  16. maples says:

Why not, if my legacy is that I helped people?

  17. Traveler says:

That depends on how selfish you are. The cure could still benefit others

  18. Kevin Daniel says:

    Of course!
