   Absolutely. If you managed to write a song that was used widely – whether through the charts or used on an advert, for example.
   But even more importantly you have to make sure you retained copyright for the song. That’s where you get into publisher’s rights, look up PRS for all that.
   If you are seriously considering attempting to write music for a career, you should sign up with PRS.

   Sure, if someone sang it and they became famous and rich and earn a lot money for the song, then you’d get a portion of it as you wrote the song.

   yeh…if the song u wrote become famous, u will get commission from it.
